“Le Trièvois” knife came from a region near my native county, called the “Trièves”. A beautiful place in the Alpes! This knife is made of boxwood and its blade is made with carbon in my case. Have a look on the black-smith website.
The Wolf
I used a special fisherman Opinel number 12. I do not very like a such long blade which seems easily breakable, however… I took my inspiration from native american style for the wolf head.
Celtic Cross
Based on a number 9 Opinel with carbon blade, I did a celtic cross with an endless wire pattern.
Moon and Sun
Here on a little Opinel number 6 with stainless steel blade, I did a guilloche blade, and the symbols of days and nights… All my Opinel knife, are made with beech wood.
The Rose
Based on a special fisherman Opinel knife, called in French “Effilé”, here a number 8 (for 8 cm blade long), with a stainless steel blade. I did a rose like this:
Heart knife
Based on Opinel number 8, carbon blade. I did a guilloche.
Roses Gardener Knife
A special gardener Opinel number 8, stainless steel blade with roses pattern and a ladybug 😉
The Celtic Tree Opinel
The Celtic Tree is based on Opinel number 9, with stainless steel blade. I did a guilloche on the blade.
Dragon knife
Here is a woodburning based on Opinel knife. My children wanted so much me to do a dragon, so I did.
I have modified the wood shape of the knife. This is an Opinel number 10 (about 10 cm long for the blade), carbon blade.
I also did a guilloche on the blade 😉
